Hybrid events: the four things that actually matter
Hybrid is not a streaming problem. It is a parity problem — and most of the fixes have nothing to do with cameras.

Hybrid events get treated as a broadcast problem. Buy cameras, buy encoders, point them at the stage. The result is a conference with an audience and an audition tape.
1. One registration, two attendance modes
Two registration forms produce two attendee lists, two badge runs and two sets of numbers that never reconcile. One form with an attendance mode gives you a single list you can segment.
2. One agenda
If the room sees a printed programme and remote delegates see a different page, the two will drift the first time a session moves. Publish once; let both surfaces read from it.
3. Q&A that reaches the room
The single largest complaint from remote delegates is that their questions vanish. Moderated Q&A with a visible queue, worked through on stage in the same order as the room's, fixes more perceived quality than any camera upgrade.
4. Analytics that count both
Report attendance, session dwell time and engagement across both audiences in one number, or you will keep optimising for whichever one your tooling happens to measure.
ORBIT Event handles all four from one dashboard. See what ORBIT Event includes.
